Joel is a land valuation and safeguard consultant with extensive experience relating to property valuation, property management, estate agency as well as preparation of social safeguard documents. He is currently the Managing Director & CEO of the company. He is an experienced land consultant and has offered exclusive value based land access solutions to various organizations. Joel is well versed with the existing land laws in East Africa on land acquisition and resettlement as well as the World Bank and IFC requirements on involuntary resettlement of project affected persons.

Joel has spent several years doing land acquisition and resettlement for various organizations and companies in the profit and not for profit. Joel is a licensed estate agent and practicing valuer and a practicing member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya. He holds a degree in Land Economics and a master in Valuation and Property Management from the University of Nairobi. He also holds a Diploma of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya and is an associate member of Chartered institute of arbitrators having done courses in Kenya and United Kingdom relating arbitration and mediation. Currently Joel is undertaking a PHD programme in Land Resource Management under the supervision of Atlantic University International. Joel is a land consultant for World Bank on Social development issues and has recently supervised land acquisition for Tullow Oil Joint venture partners, resettlement under state department sectors and has extensive experience in resettlement and compensation of government agencies, and private organizations. of housing and Tanzanian & linear infrastructural projects relating to road, sewerage and electricity.
